You say go big or go home and yet u have a tat the size of a quarter…lol! i have 8 tats and there all either funny (like made in china on my foot) or they have meaning (like my chestpiece that says country must be country wide and means no matter where u go or what u do, never forget where you come from

Its such as you read my thoughts! You seem to understand so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I feel that you just could do with a few % to pressure the message house a little bit, but instead of that, that is fantastic blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

Tattoos are personal, you can love them or hate them, but to the wearer they are important and to be fair who the hell are we to judge other people! Each to their own. Who knows how many of us will be lucky enough to show off our tattoos in our nursing home.

I just got my first tattoo 3 weeks ago, you can see it here: http://www.hypergraphik.com/lab/?p=70 It’s the beginning of a half sleeve that I will complete over the next few years.

I waffled on getting it for almost 10 years – I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t just following a trend. I’m happy with what I got but I agree with what you said about the dumb tattoos that people get.

But enough about that, let’s talk about your stomach…abtacular! *swoon*

Its sorta comical because I can totally relate to this blog.
I got mine when I was like 18/19 when I was in Northern Ireland. I had no idea what I wanted, so I got a K on my right hip. Nobody ever sees plus if I got pregnant like you said won’t look super odd.

I don’t want to go through the process also to get it removed.
But could be worse right?

Funny how I stumbled upon this after looking at a Tumblr full of tattooed ladies and thinking “I really should get one of the designs I’ve been planning since I was eighteen…” I love them, but you have to consider it first!

Of course, you’re right Bangs. So when aren’t you? Tatoos jut don’t do it for me, and some look SO CHEAP AND NASTY. As you say, particularly those on women’s upper arms. Leave it to the sailors!

Very hot tattoo, Bangs. I don’t have any myself, but don’t mind them on other people if they’re well-done and discreet. I’m not a fan of people covering themselves head to foot in tattoos, but don’t find anything wrong with an ankle tattoo or whatever.

I guess what mystifies me about them is how they originally served a religious and/or identifying purpose. But now? I really don’t know.
