Ha ha ha ha sounds a bit like my fella, although he has a masters he still believes he’s one day going to be some huge star (in the visual projections Market) now I’m all for having dreams but get a real job to pass the time while your head is in the clouds! He turns 30 this months and has just realised he’s not really had a job EVER (scrounging off me and his parents for the majority) but he has just been accepted onto a pgce course so HOPEFULLY will be a teacher next year, at least he is giving back to the next generation of losers ha ha! Having said all this I do love him to pieces and am very proud of him xx

Love this post, I want to tell the young lad we have “working” with us to get his head out of his arse and stop daydreaming they’ll make it big in his band and concentrate on finding another job after he finishes with us!

Tough call. I know people who are “musicians” who have been working on “albums” for ages. But I also know talented, hardworking artists who work like crazy to achieve even an iota of success, which I consider to be different from fame. What bothers me more is when I see people who are born into wealth or connections who have fame at an early age, while people more talented struggle.

Dreams are great and everyone should have them, but you can also work toward your dreams by working…bringing in the bacon! Which for some odd reason alot of guys don’t get. Their ok with sleeping on other peoples couches and floors…eating nothing but Ramon or someone’s leftovers. Lazyness is what I call it! L-A-Z-Y, LAZY!

I think you have just described my little sister’s boyfriend. While she works 50 hours in a casino for a terrible wage, he chills with his ‘boys’. Ideally, I’d like his balls to drop (off) and for my sister to leave him. In reality though, there’s so many girls who think this is the norm. And they say romance is dead.

I see what you mean but I disagree that most people are like this. My fiancé is one of the most ambitious people I know. He falls into your age category and has worked hard to get where he is today. He’s an engineer by the way not a world renowned singer!

I don’t even see what the attraction of being famous is. I would die if I had photographers following my every move.

Anyway I must get back to work!
