LOL! You’re good! Keep the videoblogs coming!
“Issssssss anyone else slightly concerned that …” Bwahahahahaha!!!
OMG! Your videos give me life! As for the mansion/shoebox analogy, “AMEN!”
*smh* An illiterate skank? I can’t.
And the ‘bitch please’ face after telling us that “Jesus is OK” with being skanky. *smh* I. Can. Not.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! *deep breath* Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
*wipes tears*
Can you be my best friend? Seriously! Haha. There is so much ‘win’ involved in this video ( you look amazing, by the way.)
And I’m confused about the song selection by Rihanna as well. Now that I think about it, have any of her singles so far been kid-friendly? Couldn’t she just have performed Umbrella? Yeah, it’s old, but it would have been a far better choice.
Don’t even get me started on Mariah…..
Hahaha! I love this! Totally agree with everything in the video! and I especially love the mention about BeyoncĂ© and ‘Sasha Fierce’ thinking Jesus is fine with it! haha!
That’s it! I am looking up flights to London. I should be there some time tomorrow morning.
You are so right! There are no role models for women anymore.
Oh is THAT what Rude Boy is about?
*crickets*
*deletes track from kids’ ipod*
Ha! I’ve lost track of how many times I re-watched this vlog of yours, mostly for that ‘bitch please’ look you gave!
And you’re right. Kids these days think they’re so grown. Just the other day I heard some little girl (about 13, 14 years old!) talking about how she made a boy hard. I can’t.. smdh…
I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. The grammar…tsk tsk..the grammar. And once again, the accent *SWOON* 10/10, two thumbs up, love, love, love.
What? No smile at the end? *cries herself to sleep*

This post was mentioned on Twitter by BangsandaBun: Performing ‘Rude Boy’ at the Kid’s Choice Awards? Really Rihanna? Oh you best believe I vlogged about it! http://bit.ly/amyLFu...
I love it! I am putting together a list of words and phrases that you can record on my voicemail so when I’m down I can play them and laugh. I kid, no not really. Expect the list in your email.
hahahahahaahahahahhaah loved it! i was hypnotised by your lashes and your words. you got me glued to my monitor, more more more. My favourite bit: the big about the grammar, in the lyrics of rihanna. need to youtube the tv moment now. thank you for the easter treat, have a lovely week end too.
ps: my role model is you
We’re going with the Convent option.
Nice! Just watched this over my morning coffee. And I totally agree with you. I think the best role model for any young woman is Doris Day. =+)
What were you saying? All I could do was stare at your earrings. I was like a cat.
Love the make up! Completely agree, especially the Katy Perry with Russell Brand comment – although I’d always count Gaga as a skank!
TOTALLY agree… you know, I was watching the T4 music chart with my parents yesterday morning and Rihanna & Lady Gaga’s vids were on… we were talking about the lyrical content of the songs and the visuals when I flashed back to myself at the age of 10 watching tele on a saturday morning and thinking, this was NOT what was on the box when I was that young! It’s literally like soft porn, at 10am in the morning! It’s no wonder the kids all know more about sex than I do and they all wanna be celebrities when they grow up… Oh and if they can’t see it on the tv, there’s always youtube, where you can see the FULL, UN-CENSORED versions – woo hoo! SMH
It scares me that I’m 27 and there are 10 year old girls who are doing a better job of skankin’ it up than I am. But then, when I was a kid I was listening to the Beatles. So at worst, I should end up marrying a Bond Girl, being shot, joining the Hari Krishnas or getting a really bad divorce.
BETTER THAT THAN BEING A CRAZY SKANK!

PS – Your eyelashes are unreal in this vblog.
wait.. lady gaga isn’t a skank?
could have fooled me.
but here’s a concept that i’ve been exploring.. fuck role models. the idea of measuring yourself but what someone else has (or has not accomplished) is unrealistic. part of the human condition is leading lives that no one has ever/ will ever live. these “role models” are human beings with flaws and imperfections not to be placed on a pedestal and emulated.
case and point: rihanna’s grammar
EWA – Yes ma’am!
SMARTY – I find your reactions to my vlogs funnier than the vlogs themselves!
KIERA – Yes to being best friends! (Do we need to spit on it or something? Is it like a ‘blood brothers’ type deal?)
MR YEN – Thank you Sir!
IRENE – Maaaaaannn, I waited at the airport and everything. You’re flaky.
JADED – El Generalissimo, I thought you were more on the ball than that.
HINAMORI – I’ve been working on my ‘bitch please’ face for a long time!
KWAMSTER – *blushes* Thank you Sir!
MERDYPOPS – Oh I’ll correct that in future, I promise. I don’t know what came over me!
F$%K IT – Haha, sure, just let me know a time & I’ll put my best voice on for you.
FRENCHIE #1 – Awww, you are the cutest. That is all.
GRACE – *high give* Good choice. It’s the only way.
HA HA – I couldn’t agree more.
JACKANDPELE – Haha! You didn’t miss much, I was just babbling.
RACHEL – Wish I could say I’d done it myself, but I’d just come from a photoshoot!
AMBER – Honestly, it frikkin’ scares me what kids are exposed to.
CLAIRE – Dude, your future is complete greatness according to that. Oh and my eyelashes are unreal in this blog – complete falsies!
FRENCHIE #2 – You’re right, of course. Rihanna never even finished school though, as is evidenced by her terrible grammar!
Hey Mizz,
Love this vlog! Yes you’re so right! There are no decent female role models in the music industry – it’s quite sad that the media is encouraging the youth of today to be ‘skanks’! If I have a girl child, convent it is for her!
I have to say that I completely agree. With everything. Because I can only think of one female singer who doesn’t fall into any of the catergories you mentioned above. One! And not only does she not do any of the skankiness, but in her songs she tells you that you’re strong, independant and that you need to be careful with your heart and not go for the first guy because there is a ‘Prince Charming’ out there for you, so don’t fall for all of the frogs along the way. Yes, Taylor Swift is one of a kind, and I can only wish that girls want to be more like her, than the skanks and sluts we seem to have in the charts. Such a pity.
