I don’t think you’re trying hard enough. I’m sure if you found them a barge headed in that general direction upon which they can stow away, some large land mammals that can take them the rest of the way, and housed them in subpar & dangerously diseased hostels you could get them out there for $500!!

My least favorite question is "I want to know about your package", well we have over 30 packages and people never know what one they want or what part of NS they want to visit. Another really hard to take question we get many times a day is I would like to have a really nice hotel (at least 4 stars) in downtown Halifax and spend between $50 and $75 a night..... guess what not happening. This request is also very common on nights when there is 3 big events happening at the same time and the city has been booked up for weeks. I have experienced working in a customer service environment. It didn't last long though. We were expected to speak to the 'customers' from a pre-scripted list of excuses and soundbites. On one occasion I decided to go the extra mile and actually give a customer some actual advice, needless to say that didn't go down well at all with those that know best, the dreaded supervisors. Like you, I don't like to be the recipient of bullshit, and thus wouldn't wish to bullshit others. Therefore my stay in said employment lasted the whole of four weeks. Very well written as usual.
