Nicole – I knew it’d be a not guilty verdict. A case of his word against mine. The lesson here is that you can pretty much do what you want, as long as there are no witnesses. Anyhoo, yes, I’m just glad I showed up and let him know I was the wrong one to fuck with.

Truly though you’re right in saying that the important thing here is you didn’t let him intimidate you into backing down. Taking a stand (even when the outcome might not be in your favour) is the best way to show people that they can’t mess with you.
