Can I say that I absolutely loved it when you called them “the clipboard mafia?” OMG – hysterical. The other day, walking in downtown chicago, some dude with a clipboard asked me if I had a couple of minutes … and it did indeed cross my mind that I could totally beat his as sin that amount of time. So, you are NOT alone.

I can’t stand being somewhere where I have no escape snd then having homeless people there asking for money. Like when you’re already 3rd in a line you’ve been waiting in for 15 minutes.

When I say no they proceed to explain what they need it for, your homeless I know what you need it for, that doesn’t change the fact that my ass is broke and my car’s sitting in the parking lot almost on E because I can’t afford gas.

I end up feeling like an ass but you gotta do you first…

Hmmm, could it be “goad” instead of “goat”? Who knows.

I’d take the clipboard people over the pseudo-homeless asking for money any day. I usually escalate into a rant about all of the shelters that taxpayers fund – I worked in social services too long, I think. My patience is zero.
