Hip Hop is in a sad state at the moment (at least he stuff that hits the airwaves)… it’s in desperate need of a revolution, somebody step up and at least try to hold a candle to BIG or PAC or Jay… aspire to tell a story and leave a legacy rather than own your own record label after one mainstream hit

Thank you because for a while there I thought I was living in an alternate universe.

It seems like it was just months ago people were writing off this kid as a dopehead/mental defective and then, all of a sudden it's like he's the touted as the saviour of hip hop.

Seriously, if I hear Lollipop one more time I may have to take a life.

Jaded, methinks more like a dancing frog. He's promoted himself in England as Lil Wayne Carter III as if one wasn't enough there are three of them roaming the world. What is it with naming your kids, your kids kids and your kids kids kids after you. I'm sure there are enough names out there to think of something else aside from 'Wayne'. Hopefully in the next year people will be saying Lil 'Who'as he would have spent all the advance on the album sales. And have no where to go.

lil wayne, soulja boy AND flo rida... all suck a$$!

I'm still amazed that lil wayne's album did as wella s it did. can we get more details on those figures? as in, how many did wayne and his momma purchase? and how many people from his down south inner circle bought it?

and can we please touch upon the fact that he looks like the WB dancing frog? or worse- one of those flying monkeys from The Wiz??
